About Diljān Bakery
Located at 330 Hicks St, Brooklyn, NY 11201, Diljān Bakery operates as a bakery serving Brooklyn in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–4 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 200 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded bakeries in Brooklyn.
Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

So delicious… we were three girls from the parks department just wanting to have some fun… little did we know we would be given the most delicious chai we’ve ever had, and then given a slew of amazing pastries. we are so happy with this place and will be recommending it to everyone we know🩷🩷🩷 parks 💚s diljan

Diljān Bakery is one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left. The pastries are unlike anything I’ve tried before – creative, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The highlight for me was the Cava tea. Without exaggeration, it is one of the finest cups of tea I have ever had. Rich, aromatic, perfectly balanced and incredibly comforting. If you’re a tea lover, this alone is worth the visit. The display is stunning, with unique pastries such as the Sheer Pira, Cream Roll, and Halwa Sticky Bun, each looking like a piece of art. The bakery has brought Afghan-inspired baking to Brooklyn in a truly special way, with signature items like the Sheer Pira and Halwa Sticky Bun becoming standout favourites. The staff were warm and welcoming, and every detail reflected quality and passion. If you’re in Brooklyn Heights, this is an absolute must-visit. I will definitely be coming back for another cup of that incredible Cava tea and to try more of their exceptional pastries. Diljān Bakery

I was excited to try the pastries here but I found the flavors lacking. Saffron croissant tasted like vanilla cream. Our favorite was the halva bun

Very delicious Bakery, really love that they have savory pastries too. I know it’s legit because I saw people eating the entire Pistachio Croissant, 12/10, none of that one bite for the camera 😂. Need to come back to try it but the Lamb Pastery was absolutely delicious

Delicious chocolate chip pistachio cookie. Thin but loved the chocolate pools and the dough with the pockets of pistachio cream and toasted pistachio nuts. Pomegranate fig cinnamon roll- was hoping for more pomegranate flavor. Could barely taste it. Could only really taste the fig flavor with very little cinnamon. But loved how light and fluffy the cinnamon roll was. Felt healthy, with just a touch of sweetness. Saffron croissant - croissant itself was delicious! But way too much cream and the saffron flavor was verrryyy light. I wanted more flavor, less cream quantity. But the white chocolate saffron at the tips of the croissant was delicious. Overall, great bakery to try. More of a takeout place with no bathrooms. Friendly staff!
